📰 AI News: Google AI’s Bard

Open AI’s competitor to ChatGPT has just been unleashed.

My first test using Bard

Meet, Bard, Google AI’s large language model, also known as a conversational AI or chatbot trained to be informative and comprehensive. Bard is trained on a massive amount of text data and is able to communicate and generate human-like text in response to a wide range of prompts and questions.

Currently, Bard is available in over 180 countries, with more on its way. See if you’re one of the available countries and test Bard out here.

🗣 Prompt of the Day

We all face those moments of creative stagnation, where original thoughts and ideas seem to have taken a backseat. It's part of the human condition, and it's during these instances that tools like AI can prove to be particularly beneficial. Over the last few months, I’ve found myself using ChatGPT for these types of blips of inspiration more than Google.

Here’s a simple prompt that can easily be adapted for things like speeches, famous sayings, etc.

Prompt

I'm feeling uninspired. Can you give me 10 inspirational quotes from [person]?

🔨 Innovation Spotlight: Humane, Inc

Imran Chaudhri on the TED Talk stage

Co-founder of Humane, Inc., Imran Chaudhri, recently gave a glimpse of the company's debut product in a TED Talk recorded just a month ago. The talk, intriguingly titled "The vanishing computer - and existence when AI is omnipresent," presented Humane's vision of crafting devices tailored for a future dominated by AI. Watch Imran’s TED Talk here.

🎨 AI Images of the Day

If Wes Anderson directed The Lord of the Rings, the aesthetics of Middle Earth would take on a distinctively whimsical and stylized veneer. The Shire would be a vivid tapestry of symmetrical structures with a palette of pastel greens, yellows, and earthy browns, whereas Mordor would be a monochromatic tableau with stark red accents.
